It was my honor to join @mayorofla, @lindseyphorvath and a delegation of leaders from the California Legislature to celebrate the allocation of funding for safety improvements at the Devonshire Lodge operated by @volunteers_of_america in Chatsworth.
The lodge has been successful in ensuring that we have interim housing available for people living on our streets and with this funding procured through the California Legislature, the Devonshire Lodge will now be able to get even more people off of our streets.
I am appreciative of the continued collaboration from our partners at every level of government to address this crisis with the urgency that it demands and I look forward to our continued partnership for the betterment of Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
