National Night Out is a nationwide event that gives communities the opportunity to connect with their neighbors and local law enforcement. Its goal is to enhance community relationships and build a strong community camaraderie.
Our event, co-presented by LAPD Devonshire Division, was a tremendous success. Local organizations, businesses, and neighborhood councils provided information about their services to attendees, while free activities kept the little ones entertained before a movie was shown in the park.
It's heartwarming to see community members who are passionate about engaging with their neighbors, giving back to the community, and supporting our local public safety partners. It is just one of the many reasons why I am incredibly proud to represent CD12.
